European Banks Plan 2026 Stablecoin Launch, Seek Crypto Exchange Partners
A consortium of 12 European banks known as Qivalis is reportedly preparing to launch a euro-backed stablecoin. According to reports, the launch is planned for the second half of 2026. As part of the preparation, Qivalis is said to be in discussions with various crypto exchanges to facilitate the stablecoin's adoption and trading. The development indicates traditional financial institutions' growing interest in and adoption of digital assets and blockchain technology.
