SBI Holdings Uses XRP as Incentive for 3-Year Retail Bond Offering
SBI Holdings in Japan is set to issue a ¥10 billion retail bond on March 24, offering an XRP perk to attract buyers. This incentive is conditional upon opening an account at SBI VC Trade and completing specific procedures by May 11. The bond, a conventional three-year instrument, aims to use XRP as a marketing tool to drive retail investors to a crypto exchange and boost liquidity for a security token venue. The bond requires a minimum investment of ¥10,000, with the XRP reward kicking in at ¥100,000 and above, equating to roughly ¥200 worth of XRP per ¥100,000 invested.
